Farmer and the Golden Egg

      Once upon a time, there was a farmer who was very Poor, he had a small land where he cultivated some Crops and Grew some Vegetables and Sold it in the nearby market. One day when he went to his farm he saw a hen there, He thought of Taking it to home and cook the chicken for lunch, suddenly the hen started to speak “Oh farmer Don’t Kill me I will Lay you one Golden Egg per day and you can sell it in the market and become Rich”. Hearing this Farmer started to believe the speaking hen’s Words and He took the hen to his home and said everything to his wife, they started to feed and take special care on the hen, Hen Started laying one golden egg every day. The egg provided enough money for the farmer and his wife to support their daily needs. The farmer and his wife continued to be happy for a long time.

                                                     But, one day, the farmer’s Wife thought to herself, “Why should we just have one egg a day? Why can’t we take all of them at once and make a lot of money?” the farmer’s Wife told this to the Farmer about her idea, and he foolishly agreed. Then, the next day, as the Hen laid its golden egg, the farmer took a sharp knife. He killed the Hen and cut its stomach open, in the hopes of finding all its golden eggs. But, as he opened the stomach, the only thing he found was guts and blood.

                          The farmer Realized that he was such a fool and should have not accepted his wife’s Suggestion, his Wife also was very much Worried about her Greediness .They took it as a Lesson and Started Working Harder in their Farm to Support their Daily Needs.
